Each Carlsbad city has it’s own personality; Carlsbad California has the famous alkaline water and mineral spa in it’s history and of course Legoland and the Flower Fields as current tourist sites.
Degrees of Carlsbad – Carlsbad, New Mexico on the other hand has the Caverns in the Guadalupe Mountains.
Degrees of Carlsbad – Carlsbad, Texas has fishing and hunting along the Concho River. Each Carlsbad is different, yet often mistaken for each other. Just last week some one on the Carlsbad Food Tour in Carlsbad, CA asked me where the caverns were? So I said “New Mexico”. At one point in time Carlsbad even changed the name of the train station stop to Carl to keep the confusion down between Carlsbad, CA and Carlsbad, New Mexico. However, the citizens of Carlsbad would not stand for the name change so they made them change it back to Carlsbad!

What Bert Has To Say About San Angelo Metro Area
San Angelo is a quiet, agricultural and light manufacturing center in west-central Texas. Originally a frontier fort, the city retains some outpost character along with a Spanish/Mexican influence. Industries include ranching, cotton, pecans, and light manufacturing with some oil and gas development. It has picked up some business activity migrating from bigger Texas cities looking for lower costs and the small town lifestyle. The city is also a commercial, health, and minor cultural center for a 13-county area. Goodfellow Air Force Base adds a military and a strong economic influence. Highlights include a few minor cultural amenities, minor-league sports, and Angelo State University with 6,000 students.
